Ingredients:
2 racks baby back pork ribs (about 4 lbs)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder (optional)
1/2 tsp cayenne (for heat, optional)
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
Prep Ribs:
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs using a paper towel for grip. Pat dry with paper towels.
Make Dry Rub:
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and spices.
Rub Ribs:
Generously coat the ribs on both sides with the dry rub. Let sit at room temp for 15–20 minutes.
Wrap & Bake:
Wrap ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 2.5 hours.
Grill Finish (Optional but Best):
Preheat grill to medium-high. Unwrap ribs, slather with BBQ sauce, and grill for 10–15 minutes, turning and brushing with more sauce until slightly charred.
Rest & Serve:
Let ribs rest for 10 minutes. Slice between the bones and serve with extra sauce.
